Damsol
A 40% distilled soju made from 90% Hamyang white rice.

About this drink
A traditional fine liquor of a scholar-official family, handed down for some 530 years in the household of Jeong Yeo-chang (Ildu, posthumously titled Munheon-gong), a great Neo-Confucian scholar of the Joseon Dynasty and one of the Five Sages of the East. Long used for the clan's family occasions and for entertaining guests, it has been reborn with modern brewing techniques. Damsol is a premium distilled spirit aged at low temperature to draw out its softness and sweetness, with honey rounding off the finish. Despite being a strong 40% spirit, it goes down remarkably smoothly, and you need to drink it chilled to taste it properly.
