About this drink

Dong is a distilled soju made by distilling a beopju whose base mash is made with seolgi (steamed rice cake), then aging it for more than a year. It has the smoky notes typical of atmospheric-pressure distillation, and for its high 42% strength it is remarkably soft and easy to swallow. You can choose 25% or 45% strength to suit your taste, and it is a good liquor to enjoy either as is, for the intensity of distilled soju, or in cocktails.
