Sanmak Winery is a family winery 200 m above sea level in Sanmakgol, Yeongdong, North Chungcheong. Visual artist and CEO An Seong-bun founded it in 2015 after moving to the countryside and spending six years preparing, and since 2018 her husband, CEO Kim Jeong-hwan, has led winemaking and management together with their son-in-law. The winery grows six grape varieties, including sanmeoru (Korean wild grape), in six vineyards that use no chemical fertilizers or herbicides, and ages all its wines in stainless steel tanks for at least 12 months. In 2022 it was selected as a "Visiting Brewery" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
